Cancer Won’t Beat Crystal #CrystalStrong

Our agency has dedicated itself to doing whatever we can to help members of our community Live Well & Thrive. So when heard about Crystal’s incredible life story, we decided to dedicate our Community Cause Campaign to support her. Crystal, a 44-year-old resilient survivor of brain cancer is a mother of 3 children and a grandmother.

Crystal was only 27 years old when she was originally diagnosed with brain cancer. Since then, she and her family have gone through difficult times especially during the passing of their husband/dad due to a deep vein thrombosis blood clot. This year Crystal was working as a care taker for the elderly when she suffered a massive stroke in April. Due to the stroke, she became disabled and was unable to maintain her job as a care-taker. Medical monitoring is imperative to guarantee Crystal’s well-being. However, she has no medical insurance and is having a tough time receiving the necessary rehabilitative care she needs. Keeping up with the piling medical bills has been one of this family’s most constant struggle.
