Turner Syndrome Won’t stop Mia

Mia has had an operation on her heart as an infant, and is now TPN dependent which means her mom can’t work because she needs 24 hour care. Mia and her entire family (including her 5 siblings) have gone through difficult times and treatments to make sure she embraces every opportunity and chance she has to stay as healthy as possible. Mia’s doctors have been monitoring and treating her and are hopeful that Mia will enjoy many bright days ahead. This family is doing everything in their power to provide for Mia and have become ambassadors in spreading awareness for the critical need for more organ donor registrations. Becoming an organ donor is a big decision, as a result, It is imperative to discuss repercussions with family members for they have a final say, and therein lays the importance of voicing and sharing your intentions with them.
