Started at 18. We Built This Together.

I got my start in insurance in 2004 at 18 years old, learning the industry from the ground up. By age 22, we purchased our first agency in Centre, Alabama in March 2009. That decision—buying a business at such a young age—set the foundation for everything that followed.

Over the next eight years, we grew Coffey Agencies through strategic acquisitions: Rome, Georgia in February 2012, Fort Payne, Alabama in 2015, and Dallas, Georgia in 2017. Each acquisition brought new clients, experienced team members, and deeper roots in our communities.

In 2021, we consolidated our four physical locations into two strategic hubs in Centre and Rome, allowing our team to serve clients throughout both states with the same people they've trusted for years.

I've been married to my wife Jessica for 20 years. We have two kids—Bentley, who's 20, and Ellabee, who's 16. Building this business has always been about more than policies and premiums. It's about providing security for families like mine, serving our communities, and creating a place where our team can build careers helping people. Every person on our team brings something unique—whether it's Kimberly who's been with us since day one, or Maria who serves our Spanish-speaking families with the same dedication we give everyone. Together, we've built something we're proud of.
